How the scoring is done:
For each month of a particular series (i.e. Wednesday nights), the position of each yacht for each race is shown in a specific column corresponding to the date of the race. These represent the points for that race.
Then the points for each yacht are added for all the races for that month. The standings are then established based from lowest to most points.
Breaking a tie:
When two yachts are tied in total points for the month, the tie is broken in this manner;
The points for each yacht are added without the drop race; if a tie persists, the dropped race is included and the points added. The yacht with the least points ranks higher.
If there is still a tie, then the position of the yachts during the last race of the month is considered. The winning boat is ranked higher.
